Jacob Songer serves as a Project Safety Coordinator at ECBuild since January 2024, bringing extensive experience in safety coordination from previous roles at Prism Electric, Inc., The Brandt Companies, and JMEG Electrical Contractors. At Prism Electric, from September 2020 to October 2023, Jacob enforced compliance with safety policies, conducted new hire orientations, and managed safety protocols on major projects such as the Moody Center and Dell Children's Hospital. Jacob's career also includes crucial safety roles at The Brandt Companies, where responsibilities mirrored those at Prism, and at JMEG, where Jacob was the head of the safety committee. Jacob began as an electrician with R & L Electric before transitioning to safety coordination. Jacob holds a Certificate of Completion in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from IEC - CenTex Chapter and a high school diploma with an advanced curriculum from Gregory-Portland High School.
