Daniel Berard has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources, specifically in talent acquisition and operations. Daniel started their career at Apollo Education Group in 2008, where they held various roles including Recruiting Manager and Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition. Daniel later served as the Human Resources Director from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, Daniel joined Meritage Homes and held the position of Senior Director of Talent Acquisition until 2021. Daniel then transitioned to the role of Vice President - Talent Acquisition and Systems for a brief period before being promoted to Vice President of People Operations, their current role.

Daniel Berard attended Arizona State University and obtained a BAED (Bachelor of Arts in Education) with a focus on Secondary Education/History in 2005. Daniel also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Arizona State University. Furthermore, they have additional certifications in Lominger/Korn Ferry Voices 360, Predictive Index, and Situational Leadership.
