Heather Raines is the Vice President of Operations at Mercy, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this, Heather accumulated extensive experience at SSM Health from October 2000 to December 2022, serving in multiple leadership roles including Administrator of the Cardiovascular Service Line, where responsibility included strategic vision, long-range planning, and operational performance across various facilities. Other key roles included Director of Clinical Operations and Executive Director of Strategy & Business Development for the Cardiovascular Service Line. Heather’s earlier experience includes management positions at Jersey Community Hospital and Southeast Missouri State University, focusing on wellness and health programs. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Management and a Master of Science in Health Administration from Southeast Missouri State University.
