Karen Dowd is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in nursing, education, and admissions. Currently serving as a Health Occupations Instructor at Mercy Career & Technical High School since August 2017, Karen is responsible for coaching high school students in preparation for the NATest. Previous roles include providing nursing services at Bishop McDevitt High School and holding various nursing positions at Medisys, Presby's Inspired Life, and Aetna, where responsibilities ranged from patient care to medical underwriting. Karen's extensive experience includes supervising nursing staff, conducting medical assessments, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Karen holds a diploma in nursing from Camillus Mercy School of Practical Nursing and has completed coursework at Delaware County Community College and Upper Darby High School.
