Shawn Crane is an experienced Senior Business Analyst currently employed at Mercury NZ since August 2023. Prior to this role, Shawn worked as a Business Analyst at Rotorua Lakes Council and Ballance Agri-Nutrients Ltd, where responsibilities included SAP Functional Specialist tasks and traditional Business Analyst functions. Significant past experience includes positions at Mighty River Power as both a Business Analyst and SAP Functional Specialist, as well as a SAP Business Analyst at Transfield Services, focusing on user support and change management within SAP systems. Early career roles include positions such as Application Support Analyst with the NZ Army and various contract roles in report writing and database development. Shawn holds a BCMS degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Software Engineering from The University of Waikato.
