Mohamed D. is an experienced reservoir engineer currently serving as the Mokai Sub-Surface Team Lead at Mercury NZ, where responsibilities include numerical modeling for Mokai and Nga Tamariki Geothermal Fields since June 2022. In addition, Mohamed D. is the Managing Director of Efficiency Engineering Ltd since August 2021. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Waikato and PhD Candidate/Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Auckland, where a Reservoir-Process Coupled Model for geothermal analysis and design is being developed. Additionally, Mohamed D. has a background as a Senior Drilling and Reservoir Consultant at Halliburton, focusing on reservoir simulation models using Enhanced Oil Recovery techniques, and as a Graduate Project Engineer at Tenix. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Integrated Geothermal Optimization and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Auckland.
