Roy Bolduc

Principal Material Science Engineer at Mercury Systems

Roy Bolduc has a substantial work history with multiple companies. Roy began their career at C.R. BARD, Inc as a Physicist/Chemist, where they designed and built customized systems for sensor evaluation and resolved technical issues to improve accuracy and precision. Roy then moved to QinetiQ North America as a Scientist in R&D Materials Technology, where they played a key role in the development of FTIR sensor products and led the commercialization of these sensors for various applications. After that, Bolduc worked at Eikos as a Senior Physicist, where they were responsible for inventing nanotube-based sunscreen and solar voltaic cells, as well as conducting research projects for NASA. Roy then joined Bell Labs (Alcatel-Lucent) as a Scientist/Engineer in the Reliability Physics Group, where they worked for over a decade. Most recently, they joined ARC Technologies LLC, a Hexcel company, as a Staff Scientist in R&D. Currently, they are working at Mercury Systems as a Principal Material Science Engineer, where they are involved in joint research initiatives, material evaluation, defect resolution, and material analysis for design and manufacturing decisions.

Roy Bolduc has a bachelor's degree in Physics from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
