Tom Doherty is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public strategy and government affairs. As a Partner at Mercury since January 2003, Tom leverages expertise to provide clients with competitive advantages. Previously, from 1995 to 2003, Tom served as Deputy Secretary to Governor George E. Pataki, overseeing state and local government communications and managing gubernatorial events. Tom's political experience includes tenure as Councilman for the Town of Eastchester and Trustee for the Village of Tuckahoe. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications from the University of Charleston, earned between 1980 and 1985.
