Twyla Verhelst, CPA, has extensive experience in the accounting sector, currently serving as the Head of Accounting Partnerships at Mercury. Previously, Twyla held leadership positions at FreshBooks, including General Manager of Accountants and Head of Accountant Channel. Twyla is the Founder of Women in Accounting Mentorship and Co-Founder of both Helm | Cashflow App and Twenty Eighty Financial Services Inc. An accomplished professional, Twyla earned a CPA, CGA designation from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada between 2001 and 2006 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business/Management from Brandon University, obtained from 1995 to 1998.
