Amber Olson, MPA, has a diverse work history spanning several industries. Amber most recently worked at Mercury Broadband as an Event Marketing Manager starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Product Marketing Manager at TeleVox Healthcare from October 2022 to May 2023.
Amber gained valuable experience at Cerner Corporation where they held several roles, including Downstream Product Marketer from August 2021 to September 2022, Program Manager from March 2021 to August 2021, and Associate Program Manager from September 2018 to March 2021.
Before joining the corporate world, Amber served as a Volunteer Program Specialist at the City of Columbia from March 2016 to September 2018. Amber also worked as a Match Support Specialist at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Missouri from March 2015 to March 2016.
In addition, Amber held the position of Detention Deputy Juvenile Officer at the Robert L Perry Juvenile Justice Center from June 2014 to March 2015. Prior to that, they worked at the Columbia Public School District as a Special Education Paraprofessional from August 2013 to June 2014.
Amber also has experience in education and nonprofit sectors. Amber worked as a Team Leader at Jumpstart from August 2012 to June 2014, overseeing undergraduate tutors and preschool-aged children. Amber also interned at the Missouri Juvenile Justice Association from May 2013 to October 2013, where they assisted with conference planning and database management.
Starting their career at the Robert L Perry Juvenile Justice Center in May 2012, Amber held the role of Program Assistant until August 2013.

Amber Olson, MPA completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in International Studies & Spanish from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 2012. Amber then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in Public and Nonprofit Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia, graduating in 2014.
