Perry Tan has worked as a Senior Energy Analyst at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Mercury NZ as a Wholesale Markets Analyst from November 2020 to November 2021, and as an Energy Analyst from February 2019 to November 2020. Before joining the industry, Perry was a Doctoral Candidate at The University of Auckland from April 2015 to March 2019.

Perry Tan attended The University of Auckland from 2011 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering.
