Daniel Balint has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Daniel is currently working as a Senior Investment Associate at Mercuria since July 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Structured Finance Officer at LITASCO SA from May 2022 to May 2023. Before that, they served as the Deputy CFO at Marampa Mines Limited from July 2021 to May 2022. Daniel also worked as the Vice President, Investments at Gerald Group from June 2021 to May 2022. Daniel was a Structured Finance and M&A Advisor at Commodity Trading Companies from January 2021 to June 2021. From June 2014 to June 2020, they held the position of Vice President, Structured Commodity Trade Finance at Gerald Metals. Daniel started their career as an Analyst, Strategic Merchant Banking at CIBC World Markets from October 2011 to May 2014. Daniel also worked as a Private Equity Analyst at Kilmer Capital Partners from April 2010 to October 2011 and as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets from May 2009 to August 2009.

From 2006 to 2010, Daniel Balint attended the Schulich School of Business at York University. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on finance.
