Tao Liang is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in organic chemistry. Currently serving as an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck since February 2020, Tao previously held the position of Senior Scientist. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Princeton University from July 2017 to December 2019 and a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin from 2014 to July 2017. Tao's early academic background includes graduate studies at the University of South Florida, where a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry was obtained between 2008 and 2014, and undergraduate studies at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, culminating in a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from 2004 to 2008.
