Bo Yuan is currently a Research Scientist Intern at DeepMind since October 2022 and has been a Computational Biology Graduate Student at both the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since September 2017. Bo Yuan specializes in deep learning applied to cancer multi-omics data at the single-cell level and interpretable machine learning for system modeling of perturbation biology. Previous experience includes a Research Internship with Google's Genomics team, co-founding and serving as Scientific Editor for the Mandarin scientific media platform Zhubo, and holding the position of Vice President for the Harvard-GSAS Science and Technology China Association. Bo Yuan's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
