George Lawrence has worked in the software engineering industry since 1992. George began their career at Symantec as a Software Engineer, and then moved to Citysearch.com in 1996. In 1999, they joined Internet Brands as a Software Engineer and built CarsDirect.com, the first platform to buy a car completely online. In 2010, they became a Software Architect at TigerText, and in 2013 they founded MerchantWords.

George Lawrence attended California State University, Northridge from 1988 to 1992, where they studied Computer Science.
