Richard Blaylock, MBA has over 20 years of experience in the fields of finance, accounting, and management consulting. Richard began their career in 1998 as a Financial Analyst for Wal-Mart, where they supported all merchandising departments with financial and managerial accounting expertise. In 2002, they were recruited to serve as Director of Finance for Sam's Club, where they were responsible for managing finance, budgeting, and strategic-category planning. Richard then returned to Wal-Mart in 2004 as Senior Manager - Relationship & Project Manager and later as Finance Training Manager. In 2009, they joined The Fishin' Company as a Category Advisor and in 2010 they were promoted to Senior Planner. In 2011, they joined IRI as Director, Retail Client Solutions and Operations. In 2019, they moved to AIE Consulting as a Senior Management Consultant and in 2020 they were appointed Chief Financial Officer at Merchant Labs. Throughout their career, Richard has made significant contributions to the organizations they have worked for, including improving financial performance, providing financial transparency, and enhancing financial reporting structure and processes.
Richard Blaylock, MBA has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Utah, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, and a certification in Insights, Analytics, and Solutions from 2016.
