Rachel Heidling, MS, OTR/L is an experienced Occupational Therapist currently employed by Mercer Island School District since June 2022. In addition to this role, Rachel serves as an Independent Consultant for Sensory and the City, offering online content on sensory processing and child development, collaborating with pediatric businesses, and working with individual clients to enhance Kindergarten readiness skills. Previous experience includes positions at Bothell Pediatric & Hand Therapy and Theraplay NYC, where Rachel managed caseloads, developed intervention plans, and facilitated educational workshops for parents. Rachel's early career included roles at The Child School and Doernbecher Children's Hospital, as well as internships in various medical and educational settings. Rachel holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology & Psychology from the University of Oregon.
