Luke Tanner's work experience begins with their current position at Mercer Capital as a Financial Analyst which they started in June 2022. Prior to this, Luke worked at Mercer Capital as a Summer Associate from June 2021 to June 2022. Luke also has experience as an Investment Analyst Intern at Ironwood Investment Counsel from June 2020 to June 2022. Luke's early work experience includes roles at the Scottsdale Parks and Recreation Department, where they served as Head Lifeguard and Head Swim Coach from May 2018 to July 2020, and as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor from April 2016 to May 2018. Additionally, Luke worked as a Lifeguard at the Dedman Center, SMU from August 2018 to March 2020, and as a Summer Intern at Alliance Defending Freedom in June 2019.

Luke Tanner obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Statistical Science (BS) from Southern Methodist University. Luke attended the university from 2018 to 2022. Prior to their university education, Luke completed their high school studies at Brophy College Preparatory, earning a High School Diploma. Additionally, Luke has obtained several certifications including the Bloomberg Market Concepts Certificate from Bloomberg LP in December 2020, the Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Expert certification from Microsoft in November 2020, and the Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2016 certification from Microsoft in December 2019.
