Jim Lane has held various engineering roles since 1980. Theircareer began at Brysen Optical Corp, where they served as Optical Coating Manager, Engineering Manager, and R&D Thin Films Engineer. In 1999, they joined Ocean Thin Films as VP Engineering and Engineering Manager. In 2012, they moved to PIXELTEQ as Director of Engineering / IT Services. Since 2016, they have been Engineering Manager at Meopta USA.

Jim Lane attended the University of South Florida from 1976 to 1980, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.
