Alain Peracca started their career at Hewlett-Packard, where they held various CFO and Controller positions from 1985 to 2003. Alain then worked at Microsoft as CFO of Windows Client and later as Corporate VP of Audit & ERM before retiring from Microsoft in 2009 as Chief Audit Executive and CFO. Alain has since been involved in mentoring small businesses at SCORE Mentors, working as a business consultant at Business Talent Group, and serving as a business mentor at Mentorforce. Alain was also a member of various forums, including the CFO forum at Washington Area CFO forum, Chief Audit Executive forum, and Financial Executive International, where they served as a board member for the Washington chapter. Alain is committed to enhancing member professional development through peer networking, career management services, conferences, research, and publications.
Alain Peracca earned an engineer's degree in computer software engineering from Centrale Méditerranée in 1980. Alain later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in accounting and finance from Columbia Business School in 1984-85. In 2007, Peracca attended the Institute of Internal Auditors to earn a degree in audit, specifically a CIA.
