Mark McGuigan is a seasoned professional in the field of occupational therapy and player care, currently serving as a Player Care Consultant at The Player Care Group since May 2024. With extensive leadership experience, Mark has held the position of Director at Willow Grove Consultants since September 2019. Mark's commitment to mental health is further demonstrated through the role of Trainer at Mental Health UK, which began in October 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Occupational Therapy Clinical Lead at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, from June 2022, and as Clinical Lead at NHS from November 2020 to June 2022. Earlier roles include Lead Occupational Therapist at Southern Hill Hospital and Senior Occupational Therapist at The Huntercombe Group. Mark holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy from York St. John University, earned between 2006 and 2010, and completed secondary education at Abbey Christian Brothers Grammar School in Newry.
