Brian Dow is an experienced professional with a strong background in communications and leadership within the healthcare and mental health sectors. Current roles include a Member of the NHS Assembly since May 2023 and Chief Executive at Mental Health UK since January 2017. Brian has also held key positions at Lloyd's as an ESG Committee Member since March 2022 and Deputy Chief Executive at Rethink Mental Illness. Previous roles include Director of Communications at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, Deputy Director of Communications at The Children's Food Trust, and Head of Media at Shelter UK. Earlier in the career, Brian contributed to various media roles at RNID, Action for M.E., and the BBC.
