Kidane Gebretsadik has work experience as a Value Chain Expert at the Oromia Seed Enterprise-ISSD project, Wageningen University. They also worked as a Value chain and Marketing Officer at MEDA (Mennonite Economic Development Associates). Additionally, Kidane served as a Livelihood and Marketing Officer at Ethio-Wetlands and Natural Resources Association from February 2013 to June 2014.

From 2010 to 2012, Kidane Gebretsadik attended Ambo University where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Cooperatives Management.
