Femi Balogun is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) across various sectors. Currently serving as the Director of MERL at MEDA since April 2023 and Co-Chair of the Technical Working Group on Youth Engagement for the Lagos State Government, Femi provides expertise to youth programs. Previous roles include advisory positions at Pelse Consulting and CHESRI NON-PROFIT, and Femi was recognized among the UN Global Top 100 under 40 by MIPAD. Femi has a strong background in impact evaluation and strategic advocacy from positions at LEAP Africa and CODESRIA, and has practical experience in designing MERL frameworks for initiatives like the Young Africa Works program at Jobberman Nigeria. Academic achievements include advanced degrees from prestigious institutions such as King's College London and the University of Lagos, alongside a recent certificate from the Oxford Impact Measurement Programme.
