Jens S. currently holds the position of General Manager at Menlo Systems Inc. since October 2023. Prior to this role, Jens served as Product Line Manager at Particle Measuring Systems from February 2023 to October 2023, and spent nearly seven years at Coherent Inc. in various capacities including Engineering Director and Senior Product Line Manager from April 2016 to February 2023, where responsibilities included product development and lifecycle management. Jens's earlier experience includes roles at Thorlabs Inc. as Program Manager and Manager of the Technical Support Department, accumulating expertise in project coordination and customer support across multiple sectors in photonics and biomedical applications. Jens began a career in marketing at Philips, excelling in customer satisfaction and new product introduction. Jens earned a Master’s degree in Physics from Hochschule Mainz and an Advanced Project Management Certificate from Stanford University.
