Maurice Timp is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in digital product design and design systems. Currently serving as the Lead Designer at Mendix since May 2021, Maurice focuses on the Platform Design System, enhancing its adoption and mentoring product designers. Previously, as the Senior Product Designer at Mendix, Maurice contributed to the design system's development. At Timp.design, from September 2014 to April 2022, Maurice assisted tech startups in creating accessible digital products. Additional roles include Senior Digital Designer & Lead Design Systems at Angi Studio, Co-Founder at Bababoon Games, User Interface Designer roles at Webbeat, and User Experience Designer at Rijkswaterstaat. Maurice holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Multimedia Design from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and an MBO in Information Technology from Mondriaan College.
