Jimmy Godwin, PharmD, MS has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and organizations. Jimmy is currently the Director of Pharmacy at Memorial Satilla Health since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Associate Director of Pharmacy at HCA South Atlantic Division from August 2021 to November 2022. Before that, Jimmy held multiple roles at Mission Health, including Medication Reconciliation Supervisor from June 2020 to August 2021, PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Resident from July 2019 to June 2020, and Pharmacist-PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident from July 2018 to June 2019. Jimmy also worked as a Pharmacy Intern at Columbus Regional Health from May 2017 to April 2018 and at Publix Super Markets from August 2014 to 2017. Additionally, Jimmy gained experience in customer service management at Publix Super Markets, serving as a Customer Service Manager from March 2007 to December 2011 and as an Assistant Customer Service Manager from August 2003 to March 2007.
Jimmy Godwin, PharmD, MS completed their education in a chronological order. Jimmy first attended Georgia State University from 1999 to 2003, where they studied Business Administration and Management. From 2012 to 2014, they went to Georgia State University Perimeter College for Pre-Pharmacy Studies. Following that, Jimmy graduated from Mercer University in 2018 with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. Lastly, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their academic achievements, Jimmy also obtained various certifications, including Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association, APhA Delivering Medication Therapy Management Services from the American Pharmacists Association in 2016, and APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery from the same institution in 2015.
