Gustavo Gerenstein is a highly experienced cardiac anesthesiologist with extensive roles at Envision Healthcare and Memorial Healthcare System since August 2009, serving as Chief of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia and Director of Offsite Anesthesia, respectively. Gerenstein is Board Certified in advanced transesophageal echocardiography and specializes in cardiac anesthesia operations, overseeing daily workflow and participating in leadership roles including Vice Chief of the Anesthesia Department and Co-Medical Director for Surgical Services at Memorial Regional Hospital. Additionally, Gerenstein contributes to clinical informatics as a subject matter expert on EMR and has been involved in various advisory and consulting capacities with organizations such as Chasm Investment Fund L.P and Epic. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Miami.
