Vice President, Primary Care Operations & Business Development at CHI Memorial

Rick Tate, FACMPE has over 20 years of work experience in various healthcare management roles. Rick currently serves as the Vice President of Primary Care Operations & Business Development at CHI Memorial Medical Group, where they oversee the operations of 27 clinics and manages a team of 320 associates. Additionally, they are responsible for strategic planning, business development, and physician recruitment efforts for CHI Memorial. Prior to their current role, Rick served as the Director of Clinic Operations & Physician Recruitment at CHI Memorial. Rick has also held positions as a Physician Practice Administrator at Bradley Memorial/Cleveland Community Hospitals, an Administrative Resident at Bay Medical Center, and a Development Assistant at UAB Hospital. Rick's diverse work experience also includes roles as a Supervisor at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, a Hospital Apprentice at Northport Medical Center, and a Patient Care Technician III at Erlanger Medical Center.

Rick Tate, FACMPE, obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa in 1999. Rick then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2001 to 2003. In addition, they earned a Master of Science in Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2001 to 2004. Rick Tate also obtained additional certifications, including being a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE), which they achieved in December 2014.
