Marko Srsan

COO at Memgraph

Marko Srsan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Marko served as the COO at Memgraph starting in 2019. Prior to that, they founded TimePrep in 2012 and held the role of Founder until 2020. Marko also worked at Techstars, where they held various positions including Director, Program Manager, and Associate. At Techstars, they were responsible for operational aspects, program delivery, company recruitment, selection, support, mentorship, fund financial and portfolio management, partner relations, and network support. Marko worked with companies such as Anything World, Banjo Robinson, Cledara, Faster Than Light, MyTamarin, Noir Food, OHNE, and Sees. Marko also worked as a Business Development Manager at Netokracija, managing partnerships, on-site advertising, and event sponsorships. Additionally, they were a Writer/Blogger at Netokracija, writing over 120 IT/Web 2.0/Startup/Social media-related blog posts. Marko also worked as an Organizer at ZIP Incubator and as a Microsoft Student Partner at Microsoft Corporation, where they focused on promoting Microsoft technology and setting up social media presence. Marko's work experience also includes serving as a Member of the Presidency and Supervisory board at Financijski Klub.

Marko Srsan began their education in 2003 at XV. Gimnazija (MIOC), where they completed their high school education. In 2007, they enrolled at the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Computing. Concurrently, they also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from the same university, completing this degree in 2013.

After completing their bachelor's degrees, Marko enrolled in a Master's Program at Ichec Brussels Management School in 2014, where they studied Business Economics. Marko also pursued a Master of Arts degree in Business Economics at the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu in the same year.

In terms of additional certifications, Marko obtained a First Certification in English (FCE) in 2005 from the University of Cambridge, ESOL Examinations.
