Arnar Jónsson has worked in various roles since 2012. Arnar began their career as a Project Manager at Iceland Ocean Cluster, where they gained experience in structuring business plans, cluster networking, entrepreneurship, diplomacy skills and creative strategizing. In 2013, they took on a role as Project Manager at Markó Partners, where they worked on M&A activities, including valuating companies, market analysis, negotiations, strategic thinking, project management and publishing of reports. Also in 2013, Arnar became the CEO and Co-Founder of Sway, a mobile payment service that provides users with a fun and easy way to pay friends. In 2014, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of Memento Payments, a digital wallet experience that empowers banks and other financial institutions to accelerate their all-around payment transformation.
Arnar Jónsson obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from Háskóli Íslands. Arnar also completed a High Impact Presentations Course from Dale Carnegie in August 2013.
