Loretta Gastwirth is a Partner at Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone, LLP, with over three decades of experience in arbitration, mediation, and commercial litigation, particularly in intellectual property, high technology, computer software, art law, Indian Gaming law, and various complex disputes. Prior to this role, Gastwirth served as an Associate at Phillips, Nizer, Benjamin, Krim & Ballon, focusing on commercial litigation and fashion law, and at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where the emphasis was on commercial litigation and large securities matters. Gastwirth began legal career as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Jerry Buchmeyer at the U.S. District Court, N.D. after earning a Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a B.S. in Business Administration from the State University of New York - Albany.
