Annette J. Phillips joined as director of human resources in March 2017 and leads the Foundation's human resources programs including talent acquisition, reward and recognition, learning and development, and employee relations and engagement.
Ms. Phillips has over 25 years of human resources experience, with both financial and professional services firms and in the art industry. Most recently, she was the director of human resources at GoldenTree Asset Management, a New York and London-based alternative asset manager. Prior to GoldenTree, Ms. Phillips served as SVP, HR-Americas with Christie's where she focused on the organizational redesign, professional and team development, and supporting the build-out of their e-commerce platform. At the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), where she spent 12 years, Ms. Phillips progressed through HR roles of increasing responsibility, including head of HR for the US region, global vice president of HR for CIBC World Markets, and managing director of HR of their wholly owned subsidiary, FirstCaribbean International Bank. Prior to that, she spent 14 years at Ernst & Young, initially as a staff auditor before moving into recruiting and human resources. She ultimately served as the HR director for Ernst & Young International.
Ms. Phillips is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where she received a bachelor of business administration, and is a CPA.
