MarÃa Romero Panizo has a diverse work experience history. MarÃa started their career in 2004 at Globalia, where they worked in the Departamento de Grupos. MarÃa then moved on to The Merrion Hotel as a Room Service employee in 2006. In 2007, they became a Gestor de Grandes Cuentas at Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, where they were responsible for managing agreements with large companies and promoting hotel sales through the website. In 2008, MarÃa joined BahÃa PrÃncipe, focusing on online sales. The same year, they also started working at Barcelo Hotels & Resorts as a Técnico de Contenidos, responsible for content management, campaign creation, and coordination with hotels. MarÃa later became an E-commerce Manager EMEA, focusing on sales and goal setting. MarÃa joined Meliá Hotels International in 2015 as an Online Sales & Digital Marketing Manager EMEA. MarÃa later became the Global Loyalty Director and currently holds the role of Meliá Creative & Marketing Services Director.
MarÃa Romero Panizo pursued a degree in Turismo from Universidad de Valladolid from 2001 to 2004. MarÃa also completed a Posgrado en Marketing Online from EAE Business School in 2010.
