Manuel Riego began their work experience in 2002 as a Consultant at TRI Hospitality Consulting UK. Manuel then moved to TRI Hospitality Consulting Spain in 2003, where they worked as a Managing Consultant until 2004. In 2004, they joined Meliá Hotels International and held various roles, including Research & Development Manager, Director of Marketing Strategy & Loyalty Programmes, EMEA Distribution & CRM Director, Senior Director of Sales & Distribution EMEA, Vice President Global Digital Sales & Marketing, and currently as Vice President Marketing & Distribution, where they lead the global brand marketing strategy and implementation across the entire group.
Manuel Riego completed an Executive MBA in Tourism and Travel Services Marketing Operations at IE Business School from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Oviedo between 1997 and 2001.
