Michael McGrath has extensive experience in operations and safety management within the water treatment and fire services sectors. During tenure at Melbourne Water since January 2014, Michael has held several managerial roles, including Manager Operations at the Eastern Treatment Plant and Senior Manager for Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ). Previous experience includes positions at Serco as a Fire Services Technician and Silcar as an Asset Maintainer, as well as a mechanical fitter at BlueScope Steel. Michael's educational background includes a Diploma of Leadership and Management from Swinburne University of Technology and a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety from Fire and Safety Australia.
