Ron Cheah is a highly experienced healthcare professional specializing in pharmacology and antimicrobial stewardship. Currently serving as a Senior Pharmacist and Project Officer at the National Centre for Antimicrobial Stewardship since January 2019, Ron also leads the NCAS Data Science Initiative and mentors in the AMU/C Surveillance Human Health Fleming Fund Fellowship Program. Additionally, Ron is a Doctor of Philosophy Candidate at the University of Melbourne, focusing on antimicrobials, and holds a part-time position as a Hospital Pharmacist at Monash Health. With a diverse background that includes teaching at Monash University and community pharmacy roles, Ron's educational credentials encompass multiple degrees from Monash University and the University of Tasmania. Currently, Ron actively contributes to research ethics as a Panel Member for the Human Research Ethics Committee at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
