Daniel Mertz is a skilled mechanical engineer with diverse experience in the design and fabrication of products across various industries, including aerospace, defense, and automotive. Currently employed at Meggitt as a Mechanical Engineer since August 2023, Daniel's previous roles include serving as a Design Engineer at AT&F ADVANCED METALS LLC, where responsibilities involved product design, material failure identification using FEA, and project management. Experience also includes working with Reuther Mold & Manufacturing Co. on mold design, enhancing manufacturing efficiency, and collaborating on innovative solutions. Earlier roles involved quality testing of materials at Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research Inc. and engineering at Testing Solutions Inc., where Daniel led international installations and resolved safety issues. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from Crown College.
