Stan Zurek has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Stan started their career at Cardiff University as a Research Associate from 2004 to 2008. Stan then joined Megger in 2008 as a Magnetics technical specialist until 2011, after which they became the Manager of Magnetic Development until 2018. Since September 2018, they have been serving as the Head of Research and Innovation at Megger. In 2012, Stan Zurek briefly worked as the Editor in Chief at Encyclopedia Magnetica. Prior to these roles, they were an Editor and administrator at Wikipedia from 2006 to 2014, where they were involved in editing articles, translating between English and Polish versions, and creating drawings and photos for relevant articles.
Stan Zurek earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Politechnika Częstochowska from 1995 to 2000. Stan then pursued a PhD in Magnetics at Cardiff University from 2001 to 2005. Continuing their education, Stan obtained a Doctor of Science / Dr hab. degree in Electromagnetics from Lodz University of Technology, which they completed in 2020.
