Kurt Lindsey has a diverse work experience in the food industry. Kurt began their career at Hormel Foods in 2006, starting as an Intern and gradually progressing to higher roles. At Hormel Foods, they served as an Assistant Product Manager, Associate Product Manager, and Product Manager for various meat products. Kurt successfully managed profit and loss statements, optimized pricing strategies, and developed new product strategies. Additionally, they held leadership positions such as National Category Sales Manager, where they managed category sales for specific brands and led the annual planning process. Kurt joined MegaMex Foods in 2014, initially serving as a Senior Brand Manager for domestic brands, followed by Senior Brand Manager for the Don Miguel brand. Currently, they hold the position of Team Lead - Innovation and Brand Design. In this role, they lead organizational innovation, packaging design, and the development of e-commerce and global markets for the MegaMex portfolio. Kurt Lindsey has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from the University of Missouri-Columbia, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, they pursued executive education in Strategic Pricing and Finance at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management.
In 2010, Kurt participated in an Accelerated Marketing Development Program at Harvard Business School Publishing, which lasted until 2012. Then, from 2011 to 2014, they underwent Leadership and Management Training at Harvard Business School Publishing.
Kurt Lindsey also holds the certification of Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), obtained from BadgeCert in October 2019.
