Kushan Mitra's work experience includes their current role as a Research Engineer at Megagon Labs, starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Meta from May 2022 to August 2022. Kushan also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University from September 2021 to May 2022. Before that, they were an Intern at Honeywell from January 2020 to July 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Research Intern at Nanyang Technological University in May 2019 for two months. Kushan's first work experience was as an Analytics Intern at Apt Software Avenues (P) Ltd. in May 2018 for two months.

Kushan Mitra completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. Kushan then pursued further education and recently completed their Master of Science (MS) degree from Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science from 2021 to 2022.
