Eser Kandogan has extensive work experience in the technology industry. They began their career as a Software Engineer at Silicon Graphics, Inc. in 1998 and worked there until 1999. Later on, they joined IBM in 2000 and held various roles, including Research Staff Member and Research Manager, until 2019. During their time at IBM, they were also a part of the Accelerated Discovery Lab. In 2019, they joined Megagon Labs, where they initially worked as a Staff Software Engineer before being promoted to Head of Engineering. Currently, Eser Kandogan holds the role of Principal Research Engineer at Megagon Labs, indicating their expertise and seniority in the field.

Eser Kandogan pursued their education with dedication and focus. Eser completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University, a renowned institution, from 1988 to 1993. To further enhance their knowledge and expertise, they joined the University of Maryland, where they obtained their Ph.D. in Computer Science from 1994 to 1998. These educational pursuits equipped Eser Kandogan with a strong foundation and understanding in the fields of Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
