Johan Romero is a technology leader with extensive experience in immersive media and emerging technologies. As the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of MeetMo.io since January 2020, Johan has been instrumental in developing a cloud-native platform that facilitates real-time remote collaboration in high-resolution 8k. Prior to this, Johan co-founded SPACENATIVE, where multiple projects as a VFX/VR Supervisor showcased innovative interactive experiences, including the first-ever 360+2D commercial. Previous roles include Co-Founder at Bipolar ID and Cognalys, Inc., focusing on VR production and mobile number verification solutions, respectively. Johan's career began in postproduction with Inverse Reality, where achievements included managing VFX for prominent films and receiving a government award from RUTA N. Johan holds an Engineer's degree in Audio Engineering from Universidad de San Buenaventura.
