Marta D'Avenia has a diverse work experience in the field of photography. Marta started their career as a photographer at B&B Hotels Italia in May 2016. In July 2018, they became a contract photographer at The Plum Guide and continued their contract photography work at Meero in January 2019. Prior to that, Marta worked as a contract photographer at TripAdvisor and Oyster.com starting in July 2014. Marta also has experience in photography for book covers, having worked with Gruppo Mondadori on several novels. Additionally, Marta collaborated with adriano salani editore for the cover photography of the novel "L'Uroboro di corallo" in February 2017. Marta has also worked with Home Staging Sicilia as a collaboration with Loredana Bonsignore in June 2014. Marta has also taught post-production digital techniques using Photoshop as a freelance instructor and worked as a photography lab instructor at ARCES from February 2013 to March 2013.
Marta D'Avenia has a diverse education history in the fields of photography, architecture, and digital design. In 2002, they obtained their European Computer Driving License (ECDL). Marta then pursued their undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Architecture, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Restoration, Recovery, and Requalification of Architecture. Marta continued their education at the same faculty, earning another Bachelor's degree, this time in Architecture.
Marta also undertook various workshops and courses to enhance their skills. In 2012 and 2013, they attended Eureka Engineering, an Adobe and Autodesk Authorized training center, where they completed an advanced course in Photoshop CS6 and became an expert in digital architecture and 3D design using Autocad, Revit, and 3DS Max.
Over the years, Marta has further developed their expertise in photography. In 2015, they participated in a workshop on professional optimization of Raw images using Adobe Camera Raw and Lightroom, led by Peter Holgersson, the winner of the World Press Photo 2014 in the Sport Stories category, and Marianna Santoni. In 2015, they also attended a workshop on the use of tilting and shifting lenses.
Marta continued their studies in photography by enrolling in the European Institute of Design in 2016. There, they obtained a Master's degree in Photography, specializing in architectural, food, dance and music scene, still life, video, and self-publishing photography. Marta's education journey has also included additional certifications. In 2012, they became an Autocad 2013 Certified Professional, and in 2013, they achieved the 3DS Max 2013 Certified Professional designation, both from Autodesk.
