Shelley Fisher Chapman has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Shelley began their career as NDE Training Fund Secretary at IUOE Local 112 from January 2008 to March 2014. In this role, they handled various responsibilities such as payroll, bank reconciliation, bookkeeping, ordering supplies, and scheduling groups for training classes. Shelley also played a key role in coordinating exams and certifications, as well as organizing board meetings and maintaining meeting minutes.
Afterward, Shelley joined Medxcel Facilities Management as a Facilities Coordinator from October 2014 to February 2018. Their duties included dispatching work orders, managing purchase orders, monitoring timecards, generating reports, onboarding new employees, troubleshooting invoice issues, and collaborating with contractors and vendors.
Shelley then transitioned to United Construction Services LLC as a Controller/Office Manager from February 2018 to May 2019. In this position, they worked with software systems such as Sage 200 and OMAN to handle various financial tasks, including payroll, tax reporting, bid preparation, AR/AP, fuel taxes, and insurance/bond coordination.
