Jack Manzella, CHSP, CHEP, FABCHS, KC9SWE, is an experienced safety and emergency management professional currently serving as Safety Officer II at Medxcel Facilities Management since January 2019. In this role, Jack leads the Hospital's response to COVID-19 and civil unrest. With a robust background in environmental health and safety, Jack has spent over three decades chairing safety committees, including nine years as Chairperson of the Presence Health Safety Council. Additionally, Jack co-chairs the Interoperable Communications for the Chicago Health System Coalition for Preparedness and Response, implementing emergency communications systems across Chicago hospitals. Previous consultancy work with the Chicago Department of Public Health involved creating a Tactical Communications Annex for disaster communications in the city. Jack also contributed as a Safety Consultant at Weiss Memorial Hospital, enhancing various safety programs and compliance efforts.
