Khaldoun Tarakji, MD MPH, currently serves as Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Clinical Research and Medical Science for Cardiac Ablation Solutions at Medtronic since March 2022. Previously, Khaldoun Tarakji held several positions at the Cleveland Clinic from July 2011 to March 2022, including Associate Section Head of Cardiac Electrophysiology, Director of the Center for International Medical Education, and Director of the Heart and Vascular Institute Center for Digital Health Technologies and Telemedicine. Khaldoun Tarakji also served as a Staff Electrophysiologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western University during the same period. Khaldoun Tarakji obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from Damascus University (1992-1998) and a Master of Public Health from Cleveland State University.
