Karan Chitkara is a Principal Software Engineer at Medtronic, with a career spanning from April 2015 to the present, focusing on software architecture for iOS and Android applications, as well as Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) solutions. Previous roles include Sr. Software Engineer, where Karan contributed to software for deep brain stimulation therapy, and Software Engineer, responsible for developing an Android application for the same purpose while utilizing various design patterns. Early career experience includes positions at OATI as a Software Developer and at North Dakota State University as a Java Developer, where significant contributions included problem-solving in power industry software and designing productivity-enhancing web systems.
