Melissa Baker is a dedicated medical professional and founding board member at MedSupplyDrive, where responsibilities include website management and finance coordination since March 2020. Currently a medical student at Georgetown University, Melissa has extensive experience in research as a technician and lab aide at Fred Hutch, contributing to various projects in the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Division from September 2016 to July 2018. Earlier roles include serving as a volunteer coordinator for Sound Generations and a PrepStep Care Scholar at Swedish Medical Center. Melissa also held the position of Vice President of Finance for the Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity, managing finances and organizing events. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Anthropology and Global Health, with Microbiology, from the University of Washington.
