Kate Lafferty has a comprehensive work experience in the insurance industry. Kate started their career at Shapiro Insurance Group in 2007 as a Commercial Account Manager. Kate then joined J.P. Perry Insurance in 2011 in the same role and worked there until 2014. In 2015, they joined The Doctors Company as an Underwriter and later transitioned to the role of Business Development Account Manager until 2020. From 2020 to 2023, they served as a Sales Manager for the Southeast Region at ISMIE Mutual Insurance Company. Currently, they hold the position of AVP - Southeast Market Management at MedPro Group.

From 2003 to 2007, Kate Lafferty attended the University of North Florida. During their time at the university, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.
